What´s up if we pass by Saed, and leave him Brownies, thank him, see how he´s doing? He helped us out so much last night with that fiasco miracle of ZUMBA, ha??! 

¨Hey Elderes, how´s it going, hmmm, not too well.¨ ¨Brownies eh?? Hmm... I can´t I´ve got a toothache! (How lame, really Saed, really? Just eat them my friend, just snarf those up!)

Well, in the end. We gave a blessing to Saed. The next day, he came up to me in church, in sacrament meeting. He had a glow about him. ¨Elder Tasso, I´ve felt your prayers for me. Thank you so much.¨ Saed and a couple other Brothers came with us last night, as we finished up with our goals for the week. We were able with their testimonies, with their light and glow, to put a baptismal date for Carlos, papa de Nico, for the 20th of Octubre. ¨For 20 years I´ve been looking for a way to unite my family, and now I´ve found it , in church.¨ 
Listen to that still small voice, the impacts are big! I, we, Daniel, Carlos, Belen, Elder Hasler, we´ve felt your prayers. Thanks so much!

September 23, 2013 Yeeehaw 2.0

This week twas really dandy. Just ggreaat!!!

As Genesis came up out of the water, from her baptizm, she slipped a little, and did a little spin, ha;))!! It was funny;) She starts laughing ¨hahahahahaa¨ in the font. Classic. Who doesn´t crack up in the font??! 

"Tasso, I´m scared, I don´t know what to say, for my testimony...¨ ¨It´s all good, want to pray?¨

Genesis gathered her courage, and shared her experiences. ¨One night, I felt really calm. Peaceful! I didn´t want to fight with valentina, I didn´t even feel like it, neither did she! I just felt.......... calm and happy:) I asked the Elderes, would that be an answer to my prayer?! They confirmed what I had felt, that it was! 

Also when I was sick, and I recieved a blessing, I thought ¨Gee I don´t know if I have faith in this... sure... why not... After, Veronica said to me ¨I give it 2 hours, and she´ll be goooodd!:)¨ Maybe I was a wee tad skeptical. Took a pill. Threw it up:( Went to sleep, and 2 short hours later I woke up and felt........ calm! Warm! Healthy! I know that God DOES love us, and answers our prayers as we.... take our steps, walking with faith, recieving light from the open window, little by little, as the sun comes up:)

Just now, my gringo comp. Elder Hasler (super dope, base ballllller at byu times 7) is like. Ï need to use the bathroom¨. Uhhhh shoot, lets go to a closeby members. Hallllloo!!! (at the door). They don´t come out. Halllloooo!!!! at the neighbor reparing his motorcycle. He says yes, why not, my comp goes, and we talked with him about how Japanese motos are better than Chinese. We´ve got to help those chinese children of God fix their motorcylces!!!! Love you bro, eres un hijo de Dios!

So remember the nametag in jello? pretty hilarious right...yeah. 

Well, we had another amazing idea this week...We bought a bunch of hotdogs on saturday, and while we were in the pension, we started hiding hot dogs in Elder Moffett's stuff...in his bed, in his backpack, his suit coat, his toothbrush case, his shoes, pencil jar, his jar of peanut butter, his can of ecco, his bag of cereal, his clothes...and pretty much everywhere else..-..Then after that, I got a pen case, and put a hot dog in there, and gave it to him as a gift, and he opened it up and just chucked it at me...so funny...but then he started finding the rest of the hotdogs, and it has literally been the most hilarious thing on earth!!!!! We have been dying of laughter! And last night, Elder Hasler made peanut butter bars, and baked a slice of hotdog in a square and gave it to him...you shoulda seen his face...my goodness...

I guess you could say we are having a good time.

We´re teaching Nico! He got baptized, but didn´t come to church this past week. He´s 15 years old and so he´s got the case of the lazy buns. I felt very very inspired to share those same words with him, (in spanish, duhhhh) about the atonement, Tyler.  Thanks for your letters! Truly! Do you and Daddy-o and the fam pray before you write because it´s always exactly what we need! 

What if we did a special fast, as a family Tyler face, to help you in your search for Mrs. Universe? It´d totally be neat, and fasting helps us be more humble, am I right? Could be right before October conference, so you know exactly what you are looking for! And BAM!! Eternal family! I read a story once about a general authority´s daughter. As a family, they fasted for such, and that VERY SAME DAY, she found her spouse! Neato eh? 

Anna- have you been able to learn a wee tad bit o french from reading the BoM en French?

Mom and Dad! We´ve been able to give some meaningful service to our members and investigators, and see some miracles by doing the dishes for them! Thanks for teaching us! 

September 9, 2013 Fam Face 2.0

Dad face- ¨Ëvery morning, I look myself in the mirror, and say, When it gets hard today to.... serve, or when I´m frustrated, or when I´m tempted... I´ll say a pray to God and take it one step at a time, like Abe Lincoln, or Tom Monson, etc.¨

I remember that was a bit of advice you gave me a while back, before the mish. Thanks! These days, I´ve been really trying to apply it, especially with giving thanks. For example: Last night, as Elder Gueto was saying goodbye to everyone, we passed by for Valentina and Veronica. Valentina was going to go buy some food for the önce¨, but we chatted with her a bit and convenced her to let us cook for her family!;) We taught a quick lesson about temples 2 Nefi 12:2-3, set up a date to do baptisms for the dead people:), and Elder Hasler and I put ourselves to work scouring the fridge for a meal we could make! We ended up whipping up peppers, mushrooms, ground beef, and sausage, with lettuce, and rice, to make.... TACOS!!! Veronica and Roxana in the end we real jazzed up, to have us cook for them, and to eat something different, tacos aren´t eaten commonly en Chi chi chi Chile:) So that was fun. ¨Best tacos in the world¨ were the words from the Roxana´s mouth...;) 

Something I´ve been working on lately is praying.... always!;) Easy, right?

52 Behold, my beloved brethren, remember the words of your God; pray unto him continually by day, and give ^athanks unto his holy name by night. Let your hearts ^brejoice.

This morning Elder Hasler and I made a quick banana bread for the zone! Elder Gueto and I left the apartment, to pick up a soccer ball from a member to play. As we were walking, we started talking with ÿanina¨. She said ¨I don´t understand very much of the bible, I want to understand it more! I go to the catholic church, sometimes the Evangelical, but don´t understand that much! And I feel, just ok, not great:("

We invited her to a church tour, tomorow at 11:30 in the morning, pray that érything goes swweelllll! She will love the BoM! Interestingly enough it was probably Elder Gueto´s last contact of the mission in his 2 weeks extra, a real example of going to extra mile, and a true miracle! 

Leandro got baptized! Super boss face! We´re now going to the temple with him the 21st of Sept. AND we want to reunite him and his ex girfriend (also member) Vanessa, who is SUPER awesome, their son, Joaquin 2 years old, is super funny, and has a little yellow orange cat that he always kicks! Love/hate relationship... 

We´re still going strong with Belen and Genesis, but there are a few challenges! Genesis with her health and her relationship with her boyfriend, Pato. He´s a real boss, likes the BoM, but doens´t understand ANYTHING of it. It´s all good Pato, I felt the same way when I was 14 and 15. Please pray for him to understand and love the BoM, so they can get married, and then be baptized! What a vision, ha. 

Belen (12) is super intelligent and understands entire chapters better than I, ha. But her baptism depends a lot on her Grandmother´s (jessica´s) consent, and therefore her progress. Tuesday, we went to her house for a lesson, but she had basketball. We simply began to talk with the grandma, Jessica, about an idea we had had to make a t-shirt for the zone, as she makes such!   ¨Jessica, we want to give you something special¨ and we whipped out the BoM with her. We were able to explain it´s origin what it is and such, and she commited to read Mosiah 3! God filled our mouths with miracles as we opened them with Jessica, and shared with her the BoM. 

We had a good week:) 

Mom, anna, can you send me Maddy Johnson´s email? 

I want to buy a good new camera for video, a point and shoot. I´d give my oldy moldy to Elder Moffet who lost his. Cool beans? Are we super rich or what?

I´m grateful to Jesus Christ. I know he walked alone, perfectly, but alone many times in this life. For that, I know WE never have to:) When we moved and changed houses to Alpine it was a little hard for me. In the beginning, I felt alone. Looking back I´m very grateful for that, because now I can comprehend how others feel who are new to a sector or zone, etc. and befriend them!

September 2, 2013 Returning to the basics, that is to say Thank you;)

Yesterday we went to the temple with Carlos, Roxana, Vieroska (Fla Llanos) and Veronica and Valentina (Fla Espinace). We also saw there Franscica and her mother dear! It was a sunday, so we just saw the grounds and did a tour. Veronica had had a lot of fears and questions about the temple. Why can´t I go in? Why can´t anyone at all enter? Why is it differnt than the church? We could answer a lot of her questions there, and she is going to do a special fast this week, to answer some of her doubts about the family or temple! Mom, do you have any advice for Veronica? Words of Comfort:)? Single mom, 3 daughters, 1 salary, etc. 

Leandro: ¨Do you belive that Joseph Smith really saw God and Jesus?¨ 

I know that Joesph saw God and Jesus Christ, this is Christ´s church, I love the Book of Mormon. -Words from our church tour with Leandro this past week in prep for his baptism this coming Sunday! We were able to give  him a whole wardrobe

We´re working with a cool MA named Voldermor Halvorsen. He´s great because if we don´t arrive right on time, Bam! No more lesson! Well, thursday ish, we arrived late. He came to the door, and was leaving, said to us, Maybe another day chicos. What did we do? Bam! We whip out the Brownies we made for him! He lets us in! We share the Spirit! We read 3 Nefi 13 with him! His whole family is great, but not active or non member. But as we have read with him the BoM, we´ve seen more light and energy with him, and he has become a spiritual support ever stronger for his wife and daughter! 

Keep praying for Genesis! She´ll be baptized the 15th, but has conflicts with her mom Veronica! They´re so so so  great seperated, but every now and again, togethor they just don´t get along, ha:) Not sure how that works. 

Benny, Anna, Stevey, Hyrum, have you ever thought about doing student council? Elder Hasler (by the way, we are the same, he loves cameras, we´re doing videos for service, taking lots of photos with investigators, likes to run a bit;) he took a lot of photos before the mission, is best friends with Josh Pollard and we know a few other people). Anyway, in student council they went door to door giving treats to the new freshmen, and memorized the whole schools names! I always wanted to, but I had fear of losing;) Lame-o right? Maybe you should try it:)

Mom, Dad, Anna. I remember one day when President Butler helped me understand that by wearing a white shirt, as a deacon passing the sacrament, we wear a symbol of purity. Could you thank him for that, for me please? Thanks! 

Anna, could you say thanks for the support, help, supplies and flexibility of Mr. _____ (video teacher at BYU, I forgot his name!) Thanks!

Anna, if you could also tell Brother Red, Brother Christensen, Brother Atwood, and all the other seminary teachers thanks for praying and planning so much for me, it´d be dandy! 

Mom, Thanks for the essential oils! This past week, Elder Gueto had a few head aches, and I a little cold! But.... we are dandy and good now! 

Dad- Thanks for the tip about being effective, prayful, and working at every minute! We were in the church, printing something, and I had some free time to play the piano. As I was playing I felt the impression to get outside and invite a few passerbyers to a tour. The 3rd person accepted our offer! Isabel, 7th day adventist, had a tour, felt the spirit, we found a good new, and we set up a date to teach her and her nephew again! I almost rejected the thought, that was funny, but as I prayed to have the strenght to do it, it turned out real swell!:)

Mom, Dad- If you see Ethan Allen, tell him thanks for help me learn so much about cameras, work with me at Allens, etc.! Tell Bishop Crossley thanks for all the help, for being a great servant of the Lord!

Mom, Dad, thanks for teaching me how to work outside, do service, yardwork! We were able to move some heavy furniture twice this week for a few sisters from the ward! AND weeding.....:) For Sister Hidalgo, we´re going to shoot a short comercial as service for her organic bean bag hot pillow company with herbs to heal bad backs, necks, etc. Should be quite fun! 

I´m really grateful for Elder Hasler, because togethor we have already been able to use our talents for Video and Photo togethor. We have a service Mormon message type video planned for Veronica, Commerical for organic pillow magic:), and a thank you video for the ward, and the Espinace Family. Veronica had a HUGE birthday party for her daughter, Isidora, (happy 6th birhtday) Saturday. 

   Church. Bouncy House. LOTS of candy. Musical Chairs. Salsa Music. Hot Dogs. We´re making a video as a thank you for her:) 

Love you all, This church is NUTS, and awesome. I know it is true. Jesus died for me, so I can return to God´s prescenece and inherit eternal life.
